William Hill have just opened a book titled ‘Olympic Specials’ on their home page and once opened you will see an option of bets that must be placed before 23:59 on August 8th that include who will win the most gold medals, who will win the most medals, how many gold’s Great Britain will win (because it won’t be many) etc.
Most Gold MedalsIt isn’t surprising really having the World’s big three medal winning countries China 2/5, USA 7/4, and Russia 20/1 being the only Individual Countries you can bet on, but their offer of 33/1 on any other Country being top on Gold’s especially when you consider the talent Australia have in Swimming maybe worth a punt. USA’s 7/4 is not that bad either and I think I will have a flutter on that one.
One value bet they are offering that might not look brilliant but sure is easy money is Great Britain’s 5/6 on not gaining more than 11.5 Gold Medals which is unbelievable considering personally I do not think they will even gain 5 Gold Medals.
But as the weeks get closer keep checking William Hill because they will be placing more betting options involving the Olympics which I am sure will be value for money.
