Football Club Owners

I would like to write about Football owners of the game today and in my eyes why they are ruining the game in England and especially the Premier League.

This week’s dramatic events at Eastfields Manchester home of Manchester City has really took the whole Footballing world by surprise and a lot of the Sporting world also. There new Billionaire owner who actually makes money bags Chelsea owner Abramovich look poor is a Arab oil tycoon who makes more in interest a year on his savings than what Football Clubs normally spend is reportedly worth around 500 Billion!!!! So I ask myself why?? Does this man who probably has never been to a Football match before suddenly want to turn Manchester City into the next Footballing super power which he has already said WILL happen it is just a matter of when.
Robinho has already been signed for 32.8 million which is a new British Record transfer, he has stated he wants Ronaldo from neighbours Manchester United and will pay 130 million to get him; Fabregas and Torres are also on his hit list of future signings. But I worry that when these super rich people decide they don’t want to play anymore and bow out of their clubs who will be left to pick up the astronomical wages that these players are now commanding at the mega rich clubs? And where will they end up in say 10 or 20 years just look at Leeds as a prime example: Champions League to League 1 in six years and a 15 point deficit to make up after being fined and reprimanded by the FA that’s where and that is my rant over.
