Paddypower.ie Review

  • March 31st, 2009

Paddypower.ie is Ireland’s answer to what Ladbrokes and William hill are in England with shops dotted all around the country and punters very happy to help the company grow at the alarming rate which it currently is doing.
Paddy Power.com’s Sports betting are at the moment offering a free bonus offer for opening an account.

BET NOW AT PADDYPOWER

You will receive 10 GBP added straight back in your betting account free whether your first bet wins or loses but you will only get back whatever your first bet actually was, this gives you the chance to place a bet on a big priced Horse or a Football team knowing you get it back the money back anyway win or lose.
Once you become a member of Paddy Power.com you can access all the great money back specials that Paddy Power offer throughout all the major sports with Horse racing and Football at the forefront of all there brilliant looking offers that change that often I would advise checking the website for the current offers.

With the National hunt season now well underway this is probably the best time of the year to be betting with Paddy Power as they really do know their horses and offer some great detailed race cards for you to pick through before deciding which Horse your money is going on.

For fans of some pretty obscure Sports such as Chess, Pool, and Volleyball and many more as well then you will be glad to know there is a Sports betting website out there that actually does give odds on these such events even though I would think they would be few and far between but if you are looking then look no further than www.paddypower.ie

Ladbrooks.co.uk Review

  • March 30th, 2009

With a company the size of www.ladbrooks.co.uk it is hard for the lower sized websites to make a name for themselves and because of this they have to offer good looking bonuses and rewards to new customers to help them make the decision to join them instead of the much more known companies such as Ladbrokes etc.

CLICK HERE TO BET AT LADBROKES NOW

The thing I have found with Ladbrokes when placing bets on especially Horse racing is that they seem to make favourites prices a bit worse for backers of such horses but they do accommodate this with making the outsiders in the race a better price than other websites so I would say to anyone that likes to back favourites to look for a different website but the people that like betting on the outsiders then you will find www.ladbrookes.co.uk what you are looking for.
It is just the same on the Football bets with 1st goal scorers being very low for the favourites but defenders and midfielders can often are very high priced compared to other sites.

Today’s punter wants value for his hard earned money especially in the current global cash crisis and with so many websites now offering healthy bonuses for joining and nice perks for betting with them Ladbrokes continue to offer the same professional service with no real bonuses but just a very good website that has every betting opportunity in the sporting World on offer for you to try and win some money on and overall I would think anybody will enjoy their experience at Ladbrokes.

Totessport.co.uk Review

  • March 24th, 2009

www.totesport.co.uk has just under taken a massive overhaul of its site to try and gain some new custom because to be honest the look of the last website was very boring looking and made you want to close the page down rather than look for a bet on it. The new design is a massive improvement but still looks dull in comparison too many of its competitors and if totesport.com are to mix it with the big boys then I think they need to spend a little more money on its presentation of the site.

BET NOW

The betting experience provided by www.totessport.co.uk is of good quality and on the whole I can find very little to criticise after using this service for a couple of hours. The speed is generally very good and even during the busier betting periods during the day when horse racing is on I noticed no noticeable decline in speed and a very consistent site performance which pleasantly surprised me.
Football is where I reckon totessport.co.uk excel more than most, before you place what you think will win over the weekend take a second to have a look at the brilliant statistics that you can look at with everything you need to help you make up your mind before placing your bet for the 3 o clock kick offs on a Saturday.
Before I forget let me tell you that totesport.com also give a free £25 join up bonus which works like all the rest in where you stake a up to a £25 stake on your 1st bet on the site and you will receive whatever you staked back into your account.

Williamhill.com – Premier League

  • March 23rd, 2009

www.williamhill.com – The Premier League, seen by most people in the game or a fan of the game as the biggest and best domestic football league in Europe, in fact no, the world. The old format of the English football divisions were simply called Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and Division 4. Whether the FA wanted to just change things or wanted to market it differently to appeal to more people I don’t know but for the 1992/1993 season would be the first season the top flight in English football would be known as The Premier League (The Premiership as it’s also known).

BET NOW

The Premier League has continued to grow and grow across the world with it’s millions of followers and in the 17 seasons it has been going for we have seen only four different winners, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal and Chelsea, Manchester United being the most successful of the four winning the title no less than ten times, and look on course to win it again this season. Before the season starts the FA randomly do a fixture list to run from the start of the season in August, through to the end of the season in May, every team then plays each other twice throughout the season, once at home, and once away, the obviously the team with the most points at the end wins the league. The team is made up 20 teams from up and down England and those teams change every season, this is because the teams who finish in the bottom three at the end of the season are relegated to the league below with three teams going the opposite direction and joining some of Europe’s elite in the Premiership. www.williamihll.com

Williamhill.co.uk – Old But New

  • March 19th, 2009

www.williamhill.co.uk – My daily monotonous journey to and from the office takes me through a more affluent part of the city where, as I have noticed on countless occasions, there is a William Hill betting shop situated on the corner of a very busy road junction. I always wonder what type of people frequent this establishment given its location. This place seems to fly in the face of the old stereotypical assumption that only the working-class would be found inside, smoking endless cigarettes and gambling loose change from their pockets until empty.

BET NOW

I’m tempted to park up and take a look inside this familiar outlet with its very familiar name, but the very busy road junction is, as usual, very busy, and I don’t have time to work out how exactly I’m going to park my car.
So, as I get home I decide to see if William Hill has a website. I enter the name into Google and immediately the links to their website appear, right at the top of the page. As I click on the link I am half expecting the room to fill with smoke and the chit-chat of men with Yorkshire accents! But I’m pleasantly surprised by the crisp clean webpage that loads into the web browser, set against a soft blue background. It looks rather upmarket! My nostalgic vision of the bookies is soon washed away, replaced by increased respect for an old name which has moved forward with the times, and I’m being offered a £10 free bet if I create an account! I don’t hesitate in signing up.

The website itself is a joy to navigate. The odds are displayed clearly and the variety of markets is easily reached with minimal effort. It’s all so much easier than trying to park your car and filling in a betting slip with a little pen.
I’m still tempted to take a look inside that shop I pass every day, but now it’s to see if it’s as clean and tidy as their website. I hope so. www.williamhill.co.uk

Bet365.uk Japanese Man

  • March 17th, 2009

Football fans who regularly tune into live TV games via satellite and cable cannot have failed to notice the advertisements for bet365.ukand ask themselves “Isn’t that the Japanese bloke from Last of the Summer Wine? I’m sure it is.”

BET NOW

It’s an entertaining piece of animation mixed with live footage of the ‘Japanese Man from Last of the Summer Wine’ announcing the overwhelming array of in-play betting markets to choose from such as ‘total goals’, ‘number of corners’, ‘correct score’, etc. etc. The advertisement is witty, clever, and original, and must be working wonders for Bet365.uk as it seems to be shown alongside just about every live game on TV, week in – week out.

Sadly, there is a distinct absence of the Japanese man when you arrive at the website, but the in-play betting experience is very good. And it isn’t just football betting on offer; you can bet in-play on just about all available markets, and with some you get live video coverage too, which is incentive enough to join in the fun. If there is no live coverage the in-play experience is still pleasant, with little sound effects here and there such as crowds cheering when a goal is scored or a fanfare when a point is won in a basketball game. It kind of adds to the atmosphere.

However, I would still like to be greeted by the ‘Japanese man from Last of the Summer Wine’ when I log in, just to see his cheery face and brighten my day. www.bet365.uk

Ladbrooks.com Follow the Leaders

  • March 15th, 2009

I have just logged into my www.ladbrooks.com account online to see if, by any chance, I have any ‘forgotten’ funds in there. No joy. But then I notice a small advertisement to the right of the screen proudly announcing “Ladbrokes TV – You can now watch live sport online!”

BET NOW

Although I’m happy with all the other websites offering this feature (and have been doing so for a long time now), I take a look to see if I can find any live televised events taking place while I’m there. There’s nothing happening, and I can’t seem to find any list of scheduled televised events.

However, I discovered that if I click on the “Bet in play” link in the left hand column, a full schedule appears in the right hand column with little camera icons next to those events that are due to be televised. The only problem is; when do these events start? There is no start times listed, even if you click on the event to view the full market.
But then I realise that the start time is shown at the top of the page in the yellow heading. I thought this was a clock!!! I hope it isn’t a clock, because if it is I should be at work!

Okay, so you might be thinking this is merely ‘nit-picking’ and I should know myself when these events start, but for the casual punter wanting to do a bit of recreational betting, it’s no help.
Other websites offering live TV do a much better job in advertising their live streams and listing their schedules. Maybe it’s just that ladbrooks.com have only just got around to showing live TV that they haven’t finished the job yet of adding the important details. And do they offer these live events in their shops? If they do I might be better off watching them there.

Bet365.com Review

  • March 12th, 2009

Bet365.com is in my opinion, one of if not the best gambling website available. Everything from the layout of the site, to the offers, the bonuses, the odds, the professionalism and the approach they take. At the top of the site is where we have the different links to the main things that you can do on this website.

BET NOW

At the minute bet365’s main options to spend your heard earned money are on Sports betting, which is of course where the majority of the money is spent. Secondly we have In-play, this is where you can log onto the website during a live match and bet on the sport as it happens, for example a football team can be losing 1-0, therefore the odds of them winning be will be longer than they were at the start, to place money on the losing team to win would be called in-play betting. Next up we have Casino, the multi-million pound industry that has taken the internet by storm over recent years, a few years ago if you hear Casino, you think Las Vegas, nowadays you hear Casino, you think Internet!

A vast majority of betting sites now have an option to play at the Casino, and the best part is, you can also play for fake money! Next up we have Poker, in normality this would drop under Casino but because of how big Poker is at the moment it has it’s own section on the website and millions of people worldwide, every single day play Poker online. The site’s next link is games, again you can play for real or fake money on here. Finally we have the latest online phenomenon, online Bingo, you can’t read a newspaper or watch TV without seeing an advert for online bingo.

Williamhill.com Review

  • March 12th, 2009

www.williamhill.com as well as Ladbrokes has been the leaders of the British high street for as long as I can remember and due to their continued ability to offer very good bonuses and regular promotions I expect them to carry on dominating for a long time to come yet.

BET NOW

William Hills.com are a website that specialises in the all the major UK sports but recently have stepped up their customer base with the addition of Casino/ Poker and many brilliant virtual games that will have people on the edge of their seats. The traditional games such as Roulette and various games at Viva Las Vegas should keep the entire card fans happy, Skill games such as Keno and a vast amount of Number games can also make you a bit richer if that is your cup of tea.
William Hill.com offers some great Horse Racing odds which are all on the site very early in the morning (British time), couple this with a great William Hill.com radio tipping service from the (shed) that really does give out genuine tips and not the kind that have no chance whatsoever.

With so many great events coming to our screens over the next few weeks and months I would advise anyone to open a William Hills account because I can guarantee they will be doing some great deals at a lot of the meetings such as Cheltenham where they will have daily promotion and bonus offers. Wimbledon Tennis championship will also have deals available and the Grand National which will always be many people’s favourite race and rightly so.
www.williamhill.com is a family site that I am happy to say is one of the best in the business and is a site I could not recommended high enough.

The Race for the Premiership Crown

  • March 12th, 2009

After the break of the FA cup the Premiership once again takes centre stage this weekend with all the teams once again doing battle at both ends of the table.

BET NOW

The big game of the weekend is at Villa Park where this season’s surprise team Aston Villa face Chelsea in a game that both must win to keep any lingering hopes of winning the Championship alive, Villa who will start the game 2 points ahead of Chelsea and 3 behind 2nd placed team Liverpool know that if they can pick up 3 points finishing in the top 3 will look a lot safer and Chelsea on the other hand know 3 points will see them overtake Villa and move into 3rd place so it really is one of the natural six pointers during the season. My tip for this game has to be a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal who starts the game 5 points off Chelsea in 5th desperately need three points if they are to get back into next year’s Champions League and with them facing Sunderland at home I see an easy 2 or 3 goal comfortable home victory.
Leaders Manchester United looks to have a home banker this week with Blackburn coming to Old Trafford and I cannot see anything other than an easy 3 points for United even without their injured stars all still in the stands.
Liverpool face money bags Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday knowing anything less than 3 points will surely see the Championship heading back to Old Trafford and with them knowing this I sense a home win but it will be tight and Torres to score 1st and Liverpool to win 1-0 is looking like a good score cast bet.
