Ex St. Kilda coach Grant Thomas warned against the move claiming that cousins would provide too much of a distraction for the players who would more than likely opt not too be seen with him for fear of too much public scrutiny.

An amusing side to the story is the fact that Cousins, who has his entire body waxed on a regular basis, was unable to provide the minimum 3cm length hair for testing.

Blackburn host Chelsea this week and too be honest I can only see one winner here and that is for the Londoners who I think will easily win by a couple of goals to nil at least.

The big game at the weekend is at the Emirates where Arsenal try to turn around there run of bad form with a game against Fergie’s Manchester United and I reckon this will end as a score draw 1-1, or 2-2.
Liverpool who need to get to winning ways straight away host West Brom in a game where they are expected to win comfortably and I think they will achieve this, in form side Aston Villa will have too much for Middlesbrough I feel in their game at Villa Park and should easily collect the win and three points.

Surprise side Hull City face Bolton at home after two hard games against both Chelsea and Manchester United, and I expect Hull to sneak this game by the odd goal and crank up the pressure on Bolton manager Megson to keep his job.

The leagues two out of form sides lock horns at Craven cottage where Fulham host bottom club Newcastle and I reckon Fulham will just sneak this by the odd goal.

The other games all look like draws in my book: Man-City V Tottenham, Wigan V Stoke city and West Ham V Everton are all games where I think both sides will cancel each other out and finish as draws.

In the other games Portsmouth’s deadly strike duo of Crouch and Defoe both scored again in their 2-1 home victory over Stoke City and West Brom beat Fulham 1-0 to continue their impressive start. Zola’s honeymoon period at West Ham took a turn for the worst after Bolton turned up at Upton Park and handed the Londoners a 3-1 beating on their home soil.

Yesterday however I feel that I witnessed the greatest ever filly to ever run anywhere throughout the world and even the trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre stated it was the best horse he had ever had in his stables.

Pre-race favourite Zarkava produced a storming finish to take first place after being expertly ridden by top French jockey Christophe Soumillon who stalked the leading pack for much before unleashing the marvellous three year old when a gap appeared on the home straight and powered into the lead leaving all the rest of the field in his shadows and if you ask me the horse wasn’t even at full speed and could have gone up another gear quite easily if he had been pushed.

What made the race more impressive was the fact that the horse was the first filly to win the race since Urban Sea in 1993. Mick Channon’s Youmzain priced at 12-1 ran another cracking race to finish runner-up for the second year in a row after trying to win the race by charging up the rail on the final stretch before being pipped just before the finish line.
