Sadly, there is a distinct absence of the Japanese man when you arrive at the website, but the in-play betting experience is very good. And it isn’t just football betting on offer; you can bet in-play on just about all available markets, and with some you get live video coverage too, which is incentive enough to join in the fun. If there is no live coverage the in-play experience is still pleasant, with little sound effects here and there such as crowds cheering when a goal is scored or a fanfare when a point is won in a basketball game. The Race for the Premiership Crown

After the break of the FA cup the Premiership once again takes centre stage this weekend with all the teams once again doing battle at both ends of the table.

The big game of the weekend is at Villa Park where this season’s surprise team Aston Villa face Chelsea in a game that both must win to keep any lingering hopes of winning the Championship alive, Villa who will start the game 2 points ahead of Chelsea and 3 behind 2nd placed team Liverpool know that if they can pick up 3 points finishing in the top 3 will look a lot safer and Chelsea on the other hand know 3 points will see them overtake Villa and move into 3rd place so it really is one of the natural six pointers during the season. My tip for this game has to be a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal who starts the game 5 points off Chelsea in 5th desperately need three points if they are to get back into next year’s Champions League and with them facing Sunderland at home I see an easy 2 or 3 goal comfortable home victory.
Leaders Manchester United looks to have a home banker this week with Blackburn coming to Old Trafford and I cannot see anything other than an easy 3 points for United even without their injured stars all still in the stands.
Liverpool face money bags Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday knowing anything less than 3 points will surely see the Championship heading back to Old Trafford and with them knowing this I sense a home win but it will be tight and Torres to score 1st and Liverpool to win 1-0 is looking like a good score cast bet.

www.totessport.co.uk is a website that I wasn’t too familiar with but on having a look, my first impressions are that it is a superb site and you can see why they receive new memberships every day. Down the left hand side of the website they have a long list of all the different sports that you can place a bet on, everything ranging the popular sports of football and horse racing all the way down to less popular sports like Snooker and UFC.

Ladbrooks.com – English Cricket News

First we had the rumours of a major fall out between the then English Captain Kevin Pieterson and Head coach David Moores then we had the double resignation or sacking of them both (depending on who you believe) then within 24 hours we had the new captain being named in Andrew Strauss and just to top it off we had former Pakistan spin legend Mushtaq Ahmed given the job of trying to nurture England’s spin bowlers into World beaters and I think personally he is the best man for the job.

Premiership Tips for the Weekend

If Manchester United win their home midweek game over Wigan then the game with Bolton on Saturday away at the Reebok Stadium could see them leapfrog leaders Liverpool who host Everton on Monday in their 1st of their two meetings in a week after the pair were drew together in the FA Cup on the following weekend. I happen to think Man Utd will win both games but I also fancy Liverpool to beat Everton and remain top going into next week.

The two out of sort London teams both have winnable games in which I expect them to take maximum points from. Chelsea host Stoke City and should get 3 points comfortably and like wise Arsenal who travel to Hull City for the live Saturday night game.
Aston Villa hopes to carry on their brilliant form away at Sunderland and I can see them getting the win by the odd goal and keep their Champions League ambitions alive.
This weekend could see a big lift for Newcastle if they can overcome a Blackburn Rovers side that now has Sam Allardyce at the helm and I fancy the toon to sneak this game and start to pull away from that dreaded drop zone.

The other games on Saturday have Man City at home to Wigan and I think this is nailed on for a draw. Sundays games sees Portsmouth make the trip to Tottenham to face their former manager Harry Redknapp who are desperate for a win which think they will easily manage. And the last game of the weekend is a London derby involving West Ham and Fulham and for me this is a certain draw.

In a practice match against the Western Australian second XI, South African Morne Morkel cam crashing down after bowling the very first ball of his spell following a suspected rolled ankle.

Fellow fast bowlers Mkaya Ntini and Dale Steyn have been recently regarded as two of the in form bowlers in the world of late.

The Proteas managed just 2/185 from their 50 overs despite a solid 105 from Hashim Asla and a promising 52 from Jacques Kallis.

West Australian skipper Adam Voges came out to blaze 87 from just 78 balls to lead his team to a very comfortable 4/225 off 50 overs.

 Morkel is said to have relatively minor swelling and discomfort and will more than likely take no further part in any practice matches.

The team doctor is confident, however, that Morkel will be fit for the first test next week.

Although other clubs have showed sign of interest, St. Kilda remain at $1.40 (at Sportingbet) to put in their quiver the ‘super star’ arrow they have been missing.

Ex St. Kilda coach Grant Thomas warned against the move claiming that cousins would provide too much of a distraction for the players who would more than likely opt not too be seen with him for fear of too much public scrutiny.

An amusing side to the story is the fact that Cousins, who has his entire body waxed on a regular basis, was unable to provide the minimum 3cm length hair for testing.
